How can teachers play the most effective role in the progress of young artists? What makes a good teacher? What makes a good student? If someone is looking at a formal art education how can they ensure it is the best it can be?
This week we are talking to
Beth Johnson
Beth is a fantasy illustrator that works with traditional and digital media. She has been interested in the imagery of all things fantastical since she was a young girl and seeks to invoke visions of other worlds and their inhabitants through her illustrations. Beth believes that every single person has the potential to develop the skills to create if they have the desire to learn. She is currently working toward her BFA with a teaching certification so that she can help her students foster a deep love and appreciation of art.
